Bishop FM is a community radio station set up in Bishop Auckland to meet the needs of local residents. Run entirely by volunteers, the station completed a four week trial on FM in 2007 and has been awarded a five year FM community radio license by Ofcom. Community Transport Provider. Weardale Community Transport (WCT) is a major project of Weardale Community Partnership (WCP). A manager and a part-time paid driver administer it from the Weardale Hub in Stanhope at the Weardale Business Centre. A team of volunteer drivers provide very valuable support. Two minibuses are available for hire - either with a qualified self-driver; a volunteer or our paid driver. Both buses are equipped to carry wheelchairs.
